Dr.Tsheten

Dr.Tsheten has a PhD degree in Population Health from the Australian National University. He is an experienced public health researcher specialising in infectious disease epidemiology, with expertise in geographical information systems (GIS), remote sensing, Bayesian and time series analysis. He analyses complex health data to identify disease patterns and trends, particularly through spatial and temporal modelling.

Tsheten has led multiple projects to understand the transmission dynamics, including the impact of environmental and climate change on infectious diseases. He also worked on multiple projects at the Australian National University, utilising his expertise in spatial, Bayesian and analytical techniques. Tsheten has an extensive teaching experience and has contributed to capacity-building initiatives in biostatistics and epidemiology. He currently works in the ageing and aged care analysis unit at the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
