Dr. Guqiang Luo is a seasoned academic and higher education executive with extensive experience spanning corporate management, accounting research, government service, and vocational education leadership. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the Australian National University (ANU), where he also served as a guest lecturer and head tutor, consistently earning high teaching evaluations.
Dr. Luo currently serves as the Head of Operations at the Wentworth Institute of Higher Education (Canberra), where he oversees strategic planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Previously, as Co-Founder and General Manager of a vocational college, he successfully established campuses in Canberra and Melbourne, led international expansion, built strong industry-university partnerships, and achieved significant growth in enrolments and financial performance.
His research contributions appear in high-impact journals such as Emerging Markets Review and China Accounting and Finance Review, focusing on topics including analyst forecasts, corporate governance, and market behavior.
